Document Lightening effect renders a lightening effect on a webpage. This is a highly complex script that renders a lightening effect. Due to the complexity of the effect, this script requires a good amount of system resources to run. More, for illustration purposes than anything else, you should only include it on sub or "special" pages within your site, and not the index page.This script accesses the BODY onload event (window.onload). If you have another script on your page that does the same, one of them will not run.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
